Peanut Butter Snack Recipe
Diabetic Friendly Recipe
For this satisfying peanut butter snack, break up graham crackers and mix with peanut butter, milk, raisins, artificial sweetener and vanilla. Mix together and form into tasty snack balls.
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons of milk
2 tablespoons raisins
1 medium graham cracker
1/2 teaspoon liquid artificial sweetener
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream peanut butter until smooth. Blend in 1 tablespoon milk.
Add raisins and mix well.
Break graham cracker into small pieces and mix with other ingredients.
Add rest of milk, sweetener, and vanilla. Form into Peanut Butter Snack balls.
Substitution: 1 meat substitute; 1 fruit; 1/2 slice bread. Subtract milk from daily allowance.
Variation: Honey Peanut Butter Bites
Made from a mixture of ground peanuts, natural sweeteners and salt.
1 teaspoon natural peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon honey
8 Cheddar cheese crackers
Place the peanut butter and honey in a small bowl and mix well. Using a knife, place 1/4 of the mixture on each of 4 crackers. Top with the remaining 4 crackers. 1 serving.
