Cherries Jubilee

Skim milk, optionally flavored with almond extract with Jello pudding, Cool Whip, oats and lite cherry pie filling turn out beautiful and healthy desserts.

Recipe Ingredients

1-1/4 cup cold skim milk
1/2 teaspoon almond extract, (optional), divided
1 package Jello vanilla flavor fat-free sugar free instant pudding and filling (4 serving-size)
1 cup thawed Lite Cool Whip whipped topping

1 tablespoon oats
1 can lite cherry pie filling (20 oz)

Recipe Directions

Cherries Jubilee

Pour cold milk and 1/4 teaspoon of the extract into large bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes.

Stir in whipped. Mix cherry pie filling and remaining 1/4 teaspoon extract.

Spoon pudding mixture and pie filling alternately into 8 dessert glasses.

Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with remaining almonds.

Recipe Ingredients

1-1/4 cup cold skim milk
1/2 teaspoon almond extract, (optional), divided

1 cup thawed Cool Whip lite whipped topping
1 tablespoon oats
1 can lite cherry pie filling (20 oz)

Recipe Directions

Fully freeze the cherries. Freeze the yogurt for an hour. Thoroughly puree all ingredients in a blender or food-processor. Serve immediately. Recipe makes one serving.
