Healthy Stuffed Bell Peppers with lean ground beef mixed with sloppy joe seasoning and tomato sauce. Delicious.
4 bell peppers
1-1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 package sloppy joe seasoning mix
1 cup no-salt tomato sauce
Recipe will make enough for 4 stuffed bell peppers.
In nonstick skillet brown meat. Drain off remaining fat from pan. Add sloppy joe mix and tomato sauce. Simmer for five minutes.
Fill peppers with meat mixture and place in baking pan. Pour 1/8-inch water in baking pan around bell peppers. Cover with foil and bake at 350-degrees for 25 minutes.
