Directions:
For cran-apple topping: In a small mixing bowl, stir together the orange juice, brown sugar and cornstarch until smooth. Add the sugar substitute, cinnamon and water. Pour orange juice mixture over the apples and cook over medium heat until the juice starts to bubble, stirring occasionally. |
Reduce the heat to simmer and add the cranberries; simmer 10-15 minutes more or until the berries pop.
Serve the warm sauce over slices of the cake.
