The blush in this fantastic Blushing Hot Spiced Cider comes from cranberry juice cocktail. Spiced with cloves, allspice berries and cinnamon. Delicious! This beverage will keep your insides warm all fall and winter long.
1 quart apple cider
6 whole cloves
6 whole allspice berries
1 cup low calorie cranberry juice cocktail
3 sticks of cinnamon
3 tablespoons measurable sweetener
6 orange slices, at room temperature
In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except the orange slices. Heat to a simmer; reduce heat and simmer 20 more minutes. Cool one hour.
Remove spices. Place orange slices in serving cups. Strain cider into cups. Serve hot.
