When harvesting stinging nettle leaves you should always wear gloves, however, the fuzzy stingers will lose their sting when the leaves are cooked. Sprouted fababean seeds (our best source of dietary l-dopa) might accompany this soup, especially for those suffering Parksinson's and Alzheimer's.

Season the soup with balm, rosemary, sage and savory. These help the brain hold on to its acetylcholine, another compound that researchers believe to be helpful.
