Bacon, Potato and Onion Pie

This is a really good dish. The bacon adds just the right touch of meat. If you like hash browns you'll love this pie.
2 large potatoes, thinly sliced
2 large onions, sliced
6 slices of bacon
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Herb salt to taste
1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Place layers in a greased oven-proof 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish in this order:
Repeat. Top layer should be potato.
Beat two eggs, add seasoning. Add milk and pour over the layers.
Bake in oven at 375-degrees until the top browns.
Recipe makes 4 servings.
