Rice Pudding Recipe
Gluten Free Recipe
Rice pudding is made from rice mixed with milk. This recipe adds tasty apples and cinnamon.
3 cups cooked rice
3 cups milk or milk substutite
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups granny smith apples, seeded, peeled and diced
1 tablespoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon gluten-free vanilla powder
Combine rice, milk, sugar and apples in 2-3-quart saucepan.
Cook uncovered for 30 minutes over medium heat.
The rice pudding is done when the rice and milk have formed a thick porridge.
Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon and gluten-free vanilla powder.
Recipe makes 6 servings Rice Pudding.
