Bon Bon Jovi Candy Recipe
Dietary Candy Recipe
Bon Bon Jovi candy is similar to a favorite candy bar. Ingredients consist of sugar, cocoa powder, evaporated milk, margarine, vanilla, oats and shredded coconut. Very healthy!
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup 2 percent evaporated milk
1/3 cup granulated non-hydrogenated margarine
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
In medium saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, evaporated milk and margarine. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a boil. Boil for one minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla. Add rolled oats and coconut and mix well. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes to one hour. Store Bon Bon's in an airtight container in refrigerator or at room temperature.
