Out of Bounds Candy Bars Recipe

Out of Bounds Candy Bars use puffed rice cereal, granulated fructose, egg whites, butter rum and vanilla flavorings.
The addition of Puffed Rice cereal adds whole grain vitamins, fiber and complex carbohydrates. Puffed rice packs in rich, robust crunch for an "anytime" treat or as a breakfast delight. Another day, puff up the puffed rice with juicy berries or anything that pleases you for another healthful sweet treat. In these bars, the egg whites help to hold the bars together.
5 cups< unsweetened puffed rice cereal
3 tablespoons granulated fructose*
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* Granualted fructose is also known as fruit sugar. It is a natural by-product of fruits and honey.
Pour rice in blender and work to a powder. Pour into a large bowl or food processor. Add remaining ingredients.
Work with a wooden spoon or steel blade until mixture is completely blended. (Mixture will be sticky.)
Form into 20 patties.
Place patties on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300-degrees for 20 minutes or until surface of patties feel dry.
Yield: 20 patties
