Diabetic Cream Cheese Balls

Three simple ingredients - cream cheese, chopped pecans and milkcote or whitecoat chocolate for an indulgent sweet treat. Sweet, crunchy and safe for the diabetic!

Recipe Ingredients

1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
1 bar milkcote or whitecoat chocolate
1 teaspoon ground almonds


Cream Cheese

Recipe Directions

Cream the cream cheese and add pecans. Chill until the cream cheese mixture until it will form balls.

Dip balls into melted whitecote or milkcote chocolate coating.

Recipe makes about 25 servings Diabetic Cream Cheese Balls.

 

Bonus Recipe: Cheese Balls

Recipe Ingredients:

This is not by any means a candy recipe, but they are great for appetizers and completely diabetic friendly!

Ingredients:
8 ounces light or fat free cream cheese
1 cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup blue cheese
1/4 cup chopped onion
Crushed Pecans (optional)

Recipe Directions

Mix all ingredients well and form into a ball. Optional:  Roll in crushed pecans. Refrigerate at least two hours before serving.
