Cereal to Go Recipe
Just plain healthy recipe...
Make up a healthy cereal mix you can keep on hand for a quick, healthy breakfast cereal to go.
1/2 cup organic rolled oats
1/4 cup Grape Nuts cereal
1/3 cup raisins or other dried fruit
1/2 cup non-fat dry milk powder
Add in suggestions:
- chopped nuts
- brown sugar
- diced fresh apple
- diced fresh banana
- other fruit of your choosing
Combine oats, cereal, raisins and milk powder in a bowl with a tight-fitting lid.
When ready to eat, add water (or milk), reattach lid and shake. Just before eating, add one or more of the optional ingredients, if desired.
Yield: 1 serving
