California Style Smoked Turkey Appetizers

California style smoked turkey appetizers places turkey breast meat on French baguettes with chevre cheese and sun dried tomatoes.
Chevre is the French word for goat; chevre cheese refers to cheese made from goat's milk. Many of these cheeses do not include any cow or sheep's milk. Chevre cheese is extremely common in France, but more and more you will see delicious types of goat cheese made in the U.S.
8 ounces smoked turkey breast, sliced
1 10-oz. French baguette cut into 1/2-inch slices
4 ounces chevre cheese cut into 8 equal pieces
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil
1 15-oz can tomato sauce well-drained and chopped fine
Fold each turkey slice into quarters and place on bread slices. Top each portion with slice of cheese and 1-1/2 teaspoons tomatoes.
Wrap tightly and refrigerate until ready to serve.
