BBQ Grilled Chicken Kabobs Recipe
Just plain healthy recipe...
Grilled chicken kabobs with boneless skinless chicken breasts and assorted vegetables placed onto bamboo skewers for kabobs. Tanby barbecue sauce finishes these off.
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces
6 cups assorted cut-up vegetables
1 18-oz. bottle barbecue sauce
Arrange chicken and vegetables alternately on skewers.
Place kabobs on grill over medium coals.
Grill 10 to 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, turning once and brushing frequently with barbecue sauce. Serve with additional barbecue sauce.
Nutrional Bonus: These low fat, low calorie kabobs are a great way to enjoy your vegetables.
Great Substitute: Substitute 1 package (14 oz.) turkey smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces, for chicken. Grill 18 minutes or until turkey sausage is heated through and vegetables are tender-crisp, turning frequently and brushing with barbecue sauce during the last 2 minutes of cooking time. Serve with additional barbecue sauce.
