Baked Mozzarella Bites Recipe
Just plain healthy recipe...
Baked Mozzarella Bites have warm mozzarella inside a coating of pretzels and spaghetti sauce. No frying. Instead, these are baked to crispy goodness. Get the delicious taste of fried cheese sticks, without all the fat! Makes a GREAT appetizer or snack for parties, superbowl, or a movie-night at home!
1 8-oz. package low-moisture, part skim Mozzarella cheese
60 reduced fat Ritz crackers
1 cup spaghetti sauce, heated
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cut cheese crosswise into 15 slices; cut each slice crosswise in half.
Top each of 30 crackers with one cheese slice; cover with remaining crackers. Place in 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
Bake 8 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. Serve with the spaghetti sauce.
