Caramel Apple Pizza Recipe
Just plain healthy recipe...
1 18-oz. tube sugar cookie dough
1 8-oz. package cream cheese
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/3 cup chopped pecans
4 cups sliced, peeled tart apples
12 ounces lemon-lime soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup caramel topping
Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
Press cookie dough into a Non Stick 14-Inch Deep Dish Pizza Pan. Bake in preheated oven 18 to 20 minutes. Cool. Loosen with spatula.
Beat cream cheese, peanut butter, brown sugar and milk together in bowl; spread over cooled crust.
Combine apples and soda; drain well. Toss apples with cinnamon and arrange over cream cheese. Drizzle with caramel topping; sprinkle with pecans. Let set until topping is firm. Cut into wedges and serve. Recipe makes eight to ten servings.
