Sloppy Joe Recipe

Just plain healthy recipe...

Standard recipe for old fashioned Sloppy Joe sandwiches! Drain the meat well and you will drain the fat. Plain or seasoned tomato sauce will work equally as well - mostly a matter of your taste preference.

Recipe Ingredients

1 pound ground round
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoongarlic powder
1 8-oz. cantomato sauce
1/2 can water
Hamburger buns

Recipe Directions

Sloppy joe on a hamburger bun

Brown meat and drain oil.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Simmer over medium-low heat for one hour.
