Caramelized Onion-Topped Steaks

This steak is great with a small baked sweet potato and crisp steamed green beans.

Recipe Ingredients

1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup Light Italian dressing
4 beef tenderloin steaks (4 ounces each)
1/4 cup fat free sour cream
1 tablespoon horseradish

Carmelized Onions


Recipe Directions

Cook onion in dressing in large skillet on medium heat until tender.

Beef Add steaks to skillet; cook five minutes on each side for medium rare or longer to desired doneness.

Meanwhile, combine sour cream and horseradish. Place steaks on serving plates; top with onions. Serve with horseradish sauce if desired.
