Caramelized Onion Topped Steaks Recipe
Just plain healthy recipe...
These Caramelized Onion Topped Steaks are great with a small baked sweet potato and crisp steamed green beans. A great main dish meal.
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup Light Italian dressing
4 4-oz. beef tenderloin steaks
1/4 cup fat free sour cream
1 tablespoon horseradish
Cook onion in dressing in large skillet on medium heat until tender.
Add steaks to skillet; cook five minutes on each side for medium rare or longer to desired doneness.
Meanwhile, combine sour cream and horseradish. Place steaks on serving plates; top with onions. Serve with horseradish sauce if desired.
