Sugar Hazard
Extra sugar may increase your chances of getting pancreatic cancer, according to a recent study. People who drank regular soda at least twice a day had a 90 percent greater risk of developing the disease. Those who added sugar to their food and drinks five times a day or more also had a higher risk. Pancreatic cancer is rare, yet the American Cancer Society estimates more than 16,000 died from the disease last year. Improve your odds by cutting out the equivalent of the sugar in one soda per day.
